Wendy wasn’t used to being called by curse words, especially harsh, explicit ones deemed too rude for her years. Brows narrowed, regarding the… thing with a sense of hatred.

“I’m a koopa,” she answered in a matter-o-fact tone. “What are you?”

She wouldn’t stoop low as to use cursewords back. She might’ve been a tomboy, but she was also dignified in a sense.
